Every great story begins with love.

Ours began with one extraordinary English Bulldog named Bobo.

Born on a rainy afternoon on 28 February 2011 in Taiwan, Bobo arrived in Singapore at just three months old. He spent his early weeks in a pet farm, eagerly greeting every visitor who walked past his pen. With his wagging tail, bright eyes, and endless enthusiasm, he waited patiently for the day someone would choose him.

In July 2011, that day finally came.

Bobo met Francis and his family, and from that moment on, his life changed forever.

To them, Bobo was never "just a dog." He was family.

Together, they built a bond based on trust, patience, love, and adventure. They trained him with kindness, gave him confidence, and encouraged him to discover his potential. Before long, Bobo was walking confidently off leash, running on a treadmill, and even became Singapore's first skateboarding English Bulldog to perform at Pet Expo 2014.

But beyond the achievements, what mattered most was how Bobo made everyone around him feel. He brought laughter into their home, comfort during difficult days, and unconditional love every single day.

Like every pet owner, Francis and his family often faced the same question whenever they travelled or had commitments:

"Who can we trust to care for Bobo the way we do?"

They wanted more than a boarding facility. They wanted a place where Bobo would feel safe, understood, loved, and genuinely excited to return to—a true home away from home.

When they couldn't find one that matched their expectations, they decided to build it themselves.

And so, The Wagington was born.

Today, The Wagington is more than a luxury pet hotel. It is a place built on the belief that every pet deserves to be treated like family. Every cuddle, every walk, every meal, every swim, and every goodnight is delivered with the same love and attention we would give our own dogs.

Whether your companion is staying for daycare, boarding, grooming, or simply spending the day with us, our promise remains the same: to provide a safe, enriching, and loving environment where tails wag, hearts are full, and every pet feels at home.
